REJECTING OBLITERATION

by Blindfolded and Led to the Woods

Oxphobia Flawless execution of everything I love about Death Metal Favorite track: Monolith.
Dissonant Void

Dissonant Void This album is littered with head spinning technicality which is complemented by incredibly well written songs and production that’s clear yet organic. There’s some really nice clean jazzy breaks at times that work really well within the overall context of the album. It took several listens for things to start sinking in but it is quite the reward. The lyrics deal with many personal issues faced by the band which adds to the intensity of the music. Certain to be high on many AOTY lists!

Darknight This album may just sneak onto my AOTY list, I think it's the jarring heavy hitting riffage and the emotion that pours out of every song. Also the technicality coming from every devastating riff is absolutely stunning. Favorite track: Rejecting Obliteration.
IAmRevEvil

IAmRevEvil this is such a fantastic album. BALTTW is one of my favorite bands. this is hands down on my Album of the Year list. Favorite track: Hallucinative Terror.
Lagerbottoms

Lagerbottoms How dare music this heavy, be this emotional as well. It's a little bumpy, just like the road from trauma to recovery, and it ends in absolute bliss. Don't miss out if you like anything between The Red Chord and Ulcerate Favorite track: Caustic Burns.

dissonant_ways It’s absolutely fucking insane how far these guys have come. This album sees them continuing to mix their unique, almost mathcore style riffs, with death metal heft to create something truly incredible. What’s most impressive though is where they’re at in terms of their songwriting/compositional skills. It’s one thing to have great riffs, but another entirely to have solid songs to go along with it. ‘RO’ has them in spades. Kudos lads 👏 Favorite track: Cicada.
